Our client is an innovative and market leading FMCG company based in Louth. With a strong portfolio of own and private label brands, my client has seen significant growth in their operations in the last few years. They are currently expanding their marketing team and have a Digital Marketing Specialist position available. The Role: As Digital Marketing Specialist, your strong knowledge and experience will be used to set up and manage the Digital execution solution, overseeing the performance of digital communications programs in market. Your experience managing digital media agencies will be used to good effect at National/European level as well as assisting media and marketing operations director in establishing a digital agenda for Ireland/Europe, working with area and country legal and regulatory teams to identify trends or legislation that may impact on digital campaigns. Collaborating with IT and other business units to develop best means to advance digital capabilities and strategy within Ireland/Europe will play a major role in this position while also establishing a corporate and brand website infrastructure working with Global to coordinate best practice for domain name registration and management. You experience in digital marketing will also allow you to manage and deliver solutions for ad hoc projects related to Digital communications. The Person: You have strong FMCG experience preferably with Blue chip companies as well as having completed a relevant degree. Your experience working within digital marketing should demonstrate your ability to develop platform specific strategies such as internet, mobile, kiosk, devices. Social media etc. as well as a strong understanding of digital best practice. You are highly influential and able to persuade key stakeholders whilst also developing strong relationships with agency partners and working well as part of a team. There may be a significant amount of travel with this position so openness to travel is essential.
