We are currently seeking to recruit an additional domestic BER assessor for a full time position. . FETAC Level 6 certificate in Domestic Building Energy Ratings is required for this position. The ideal candidate's would have the following: • Degree in Building Surveying, Engineering or Architectural Technican. • Previous or current registration as a BER assessor. • Full Clean driving license. • Flexibility and drive to complete work assignments to committed deadlines. • Experience with current building methods / materials. • A good competence in AutoCAD. The above criteria is not obligatory & we would consider all applicants who have completed at some stage the FETAC Level 6 certificate in Domestic Building Energy Ratings. Experience is desirable but not required as training can be provided. Our office is based in the North East & ideally we would like to have a candidate that could work out of the office, however we have work in all areas of Ireland so we would consider applicants from all over the country. The successful candidate will receive the following: • Company Van or the option of mileage. • Company Laptop. • Company Phone. Along with the chance to work alongside an existing team of 5 experienced Building Surveyors, & gaining valuable experience in the areas of part L compliance, specifying out new builds, air tightness & commercial energy ratings.
