Electrical Supervisor – Ireland. Working in our Substation Business Unit throughout Ireland, voltages varying from 11kv / 110kv / 220kv on both new build and refurbishment projects, applicants must be highly flexible in respect of day to day work requirements and working away from home. Office based in Louth. This will be a nationwide role and will require travel daily. Essential criteria: • Must be a time served Electrician. • Able to read / work off schematic diagrams with knowledge of control and protection systems. • Experience of installation and termination of SWA (Single Wire Armoured) Multicore and Communications cables. • Installation of Substation plant & equipment i.e. transformer assembly, support structures and associated equipment (CT’s, VT’s Busbars Circuit Breakers, Disconnects etc. • Working Knowledge of AC / DC Systems. • High level manual dexterity and technical ability with proven experience in panels wiring within the relevant environment. • Full clean driving license & proof of eligibility to work in Ireland. Desirable criteria: • HV Substation experience. • ESB stations inducted & Vol.1 & Vol.2 Handbooks. • ESB PICW attained. This job originally appeared on RecruitIreland.com.
