Transport and Logistics Administrator. Permanent Role. Co Louth. Hours 2pm-10pm Monday to Friday. The T&L Administrator provides an administrative support function to the group logistics team, in a fast moving environment. You'll be able to plan and prioritise your own work to tight deadlines. With a working knowledge of spreadsheets, administration systems and in-house database systems, you'll be accurate with superb attention to detail and possess the sort of confidence and communication skills that inspires trust in colleagues and customers alike. Responsibilities. Record information and produce T&L cost/efficiency reports. Receive and process orders, ensuring all the relevant documentation is used (pro-forma invoices, proof of delivery, export certificates, etc.) Follow up on sales and delivery enquiries by liaising between customers and internal stakeholders across various departments. Run and prepare a suite of reports as required by the COO/business. Act as initial point of contact for incoming T&L queries. General administration and data processing. Manage all rate requests with Freight forwarding and Shipping suppliers. Undertake short term projects to support the wider Operation team as required. Other duties as deemed reasonable by management. Experience/ Qualifications Required. 2-3 years' experience in a similar Transport Admin role. Demonstrable communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite. Experience in system development. Flexible approach to working hours. International freight forward experience is highly desirable.
