Role : Payroll Specialist. Overview of role : Our client is looking to recruit a bright, enthusiastic, and self-motivated person to become part of their ever growing team. Third level degree, IPASS Accreditation or similar is essential for role as is proven experience in a bureau or large volume payroll environment. Responsibilities: Process all aspects of payrolls accurately and on time. Ensure compliance, data protection and control risk within the function. Provide friendly support to customers for all related matters. Be enthusiastic and passionate about providing customers with the highest level of service. Identifying opportunities and implementing solutions with both the existing and new customers. Ensure you are professional, precise and polite in everything you do. Skills: IPASS qualified or in the process of becoming qualified. Experience of Sage Micropay, Payroll Journals, CSO Returns and Payroll Year End procedures. Excellent Microsoft Office Skill particularly in Excel and Outlook. Excellent time management skills, accuracy and attention to detail. Responsible for scheduling and prioritising and delivering projects as required. Liaising with the other Payroll Specialists in the team to ensure timely and accurate service delivery in line with Service Level Agreements and excellence in customer service experiences. Committed Team player. Works well under pressure. Terrific organisational skills. Eager to learn Participation in projects as requested including system implementation, process reviews, product/service innovation, testing etc. Experience: Ideally 6 months payroll experience. IPASS qualified or in the process of becoming qualified. Understanding of payroll and a strong desire to become a payroll expert. Customer service experience would be an advantage.
